Founder & Kathak Exponent

Born in a musical family to explore the world of dance started to learn Kathak at the age of 6.
First Guru was Dr. Rashmi Rathore a senior disciple of her father Pt. Surendra Prasad Rathore of Lucknow Gharana.

  • Later obtained this art from Ustaad Sarju Mohan s/o Ustaad Mohandas-ji who put the foundation of Jaipur Gharana (Kathak) in Bhopal (M.P.) with the great devotion and sincerity.
  • Completed her Master degree M.A. (Praveen) in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad
  • Now obtaining the skill of art from Pandit Birju Maharaj Ji & Vidushi Saswati Sen Ji in Kalashram. he is the direct descendent of Ishwari Prasad Ji.
  • He is the son of Late Padmasree Pt. Achhan Maharaj.Ji – seventh generation of Lucknow Gharana.
  • Pt. Birju Maharaj ji is the tourch Bearer of Kalka -Bindadin Gharana of Kathak
  • Completed M.A. in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh (Chattisgarh)

Achievements

  • Appointed Examiner of Prayag Sangeet Samiti ( Perveshika to Praveen) in year 2015.
  • As examiner of Prayag Sangeet Samiti Conducted Kathak examination in Virginia USA in year 2015 To 2019.
  • Recipient of “Kala Kan Mani” Award by Kala Vikas Parishad– Gadag in 2015
  • Recipient of “Nritya Ratna National Award” by Bharat Darshan World Centre, Pune in 2017 Judged in many schools for inter school Dance competition.
  • Honored with “Kala Vikas Satkar” award by Kala Vikas Parishat (Gagag) in April 2018 Honored with “Kala Aparanji Award 2018” award by Kala Vikas Parishat (Gagag) in May 2018
  • Received “Young Achiever National award “ by Bharat Darshan World Centre , Pune in October 2018 Received “Royal Rajasthan Ratan” award by Rajasthan Media Group, in April 2019.
  • Received “Ustad Bismillah Khan Kala Ratna Award” by Deepika Cultural Society, Banaras in March 2022.
